We are currently seeking versatile candidates to act as Housekeepers at Andrews House, Public Residential Aged Care Facility in Trafalgar. The role includes tasks such as assisting with delivering resident meals, attending to laundry services, tidying kitchenettes and setting tables.

We have permanent part time hours available up to 32 per week, hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant(s). The housekeeper(s) will work a rotating and flexible roster. Two housekeepers work each day, and their shift times are; 0730-1600 and 1130- 2000. Both shifts are 8 hours in duration. We also have casual opportunities available. Casual positions are used to backfill shifts and do not include regular hours.

IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.

Working with us

All appointments with the West Gippsland Healthcare Group are subject to the satisfactory return of professional reference checks, a National Police Check Record Clearance and a current Employee Working with Children Check. All employees must hold current entitlement to work within Australia. A six month probationary period applies to all new appointments.
